Tactical position on Stalingrad
Map overviewclick to expand

High risk, high reward. This is a flanking position close to the enemy spawn, and if you can reach it without being seen, it turns into a kill farm — enemies stream past your angle with their sides exposed, and you can hold the position for kill after kill as long as you stay undetected. The moment you are spotted, however, the position flips from an ambush into a trap, with the enemy spawn close enough that revenge pushes arrive fast. Move in quietly, pick targets that cannot immediately return fire, and have an exit plan ready the second the shots stop being free.

A decent sniping spot for surprising enemies on their way to C. The angle covers the approach route rather than the point itself, which is what makes it work — players moving up to the cap are watching the objective, not this line, so your first shot almost always lands on a target that never saw you. It is not an invincible position, just an underused one: after a couple of kills the survivors will know roughly where you are, so either relocate or wait for the next wave to forget about you before firing again.

Wide Flank

A flanking route that is perfect if you are in a fast vehicle — speed is what makes it work, because parts of the line may run through out-of-bounds territory where you cannot afford to linger. The route sweeps you wide around the main fight and drops you onto the enemy's flank while their attention is fixed forward. Drive it flat-out, clear the risky sections without stopping, and you arrive on an angle full of side shots. In a slow tank the out-of-bounds sections make this route a liability, so save it for something with real mobility.
