Tactical position on Pradesh

An incredible sniper spot — one of the best firing positions this map offers. Getting there is the filter: you need to drive up a small hill, so a tank with good mobility is required, and ideally a light tank that can make the climb without losing all its momentum. Once you are set, the position pays for the effort with long, dominant sightlines. It works best with a laser rangefinder and thermals: the rangefinder makes the long shots first-round hits, and thermals pick targets out of the terrain long before they see you. Stay hull-down on the crest and this spot can carry a whole match.

From here you can see into the enemy spawn with ease — a genuine spawn-overwatch angle rather than a lucky peek. The distance is what shapes the loadout requirement: bring a missile slinger or a tank with a laser rangefinder, because these are long shots against targets that only expose briefly, and manual ranging wastes the windows. Set up, watch the spawn exits, and punish anything that lingers. As with any spawn-watching position, you become a priority problem for the enemy once they notice the source, so make your exposures brief and be ready to displace after a few kills.

Wide Flank

The best spot on the whole map: from the end of this flanking route you can see both spawns at once, and you have cover to work from while you do it. Dual spawn vision means you are never out of targets — whichever side the enemy reinforces, you have an angle on it. The one hard restriction: this does not work with heavy tanks. The climb and the terrain demand mobility, so bring something light or at least agile. Get up there early, settle behind the cover, and ration your exposures; a position this strong gets hunted once the enemy realizes where the shots keep coming from.

Direct Assault

Drive straight up to the top of this mountain — the payoff is a sniper position that covers all three capture points at once. From the summit you have shots onto A, B, and C and every rotation between them, which means constant target traffic all match long. A laser rangefinder turns this spot from good into unfair: with instant ranging, five or more frags is a very realistic outcome. The climb is the direct route and costs you some time up front, so commit to it at spawn. Once on top, play the crest hull-down and shift along the summit after every couple of kills.

Direct Assault

This marks the direct lane the upper-left spawn uses to shoot at you — treat it as a warning line rather than a route to drive. Enemies from that spawn have a straight, fast sightline along this path, and anyone crossing it casually gets punished. Know where it runs, cross it only at speed and at the narrow points, and use it in reverse when you are on that side: the same geometry that makes it dangerous to cross makes it a productive firing lane if you are the one holding it.
