Great spots — plural — for sniping the people trying to flank. This stretch of high ground overlooks the routes flankers favor, turning their clever wide swing into a parade across your gun. Counter-flanking positions like this are quietly the most valuable defense a team can have: every flanker you delete here would have been three kills in your team's back line. The elevation and cover let you work hull-down, and the spawn-peek angle adds early targets before the flank traffic starts. Set up, watch the wide lanes, and let the enemy's own aggression deliver the kills to you.

A nice sniping position on high ground with cover — and a rangefinder is genuinely recommended, not just suggested. The sightlines from here run long, and at these distances guessing the range wastes the first shot, which is often the only free one. With a rangefinder the position becomes what it promises: first-round hits on targets that never localize the source. The cover lets you work the crest hull-down between engagements. It is a patient posting on a map that rewards patience — establish early, lase, fire, and shift a few meters along the height after every couple of kills.

Protected CorridorDirect Assault

In Hurtgen Forest this is the perfect spot to snipe — and it is recommended only for fast tanks, because the drive out to it crosses ground where slow vehicles get caught mid-transit. The protected stretches of the route cover most of the approach, but the timing windows between them demand speed. Arrive intact and the position justifies everything: clean lanes through the forest's firing gaps, onto traffic that rarely scans this angle. The forest's limited sightlines make good sniping real estate scarce here, which is exactly why this spot is worth the sprint. Get there fast, set up properly, and own the gap.
